Saideh Browne is a women's empowerment activist and President of the National Council of Women of America. She is frequently hired by corporations, universities, and organizations to give talks on the intersectionality of race, class, and the global grind for gender diversity; as well as other tools and specialized solutions based on the framework of the United Nations’ Global Goals Initiative.

Can you hear me now?

After attending one of the events during the 61st Session of the United Nations' Commission on the Status of Women, I saw the relic in the corner. I haven't seen a decent looking payphone (one that I would actually use) in over 10 years. There are still a few on some corners in and around New York City but I certainly cannot attest to the safe operation or cleanliness of the phone.

I just had to capture this moment for my future grandchildren's sake. Hey! Its history.
